My research interests deal with cohesive devices and, more generally, the interface between syntax and discourse, I have mainly focused on discourse markers and interjections, from a theortical, descriptive and constrastive perspective, in real interaction. I have addressed problems about their categorization and the fuzzy boundaries with other categories, such as modal markers. Some recent contributions are:
